Many of you have written to us that you have not been received the blog posts since April and we are so sorry. We have been wrestling with the subscription service, FeedBurner, which seems to have rolled over dead with its spindly legs in the air, for it neither provides its promised service nor responds to the usual electronic stimuli. We finally have given up and changed to another subscription service, or "migrated" as we are told it is, as if we were a bird on the wing instead of a frustrated blogger beating on a screen.
The new service is the similarly named FeedBlitz and promises that all will go oh so smoothly and that you, Dear Readers, need do nothing at all except smile with joy when you start receiving our longed-for posts again. All going well, you should receive this informative post in your e-mail pronto. We would like to ask you to let us know if you do not, but of course, that would be senseless.
In any case, fingers crossed!
Update: Well, FeedBlitz was a bust and we have cancelled with them. However, the exercise woke up FeedBurner and they are back in our corner. Thus, if you, like us, were bamboozled by FeedBlitz, please re-subscribe to The French Genealogy Blog using the box on the upper right of this page. We hope that this will do the trick!
